It is common to feel overwhelmed with the NDIS plans and getting the right support to reach your full potential. Let us enlighten you with these simple step-by-step application guides to bring your NDIS plan to life.

Get Prepared

Understand how the application process works and what to expect. You can go through the eligibility checklist and identify whether the requirements are met. With a plan in hand, set a date and organise a meeting with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC) for the NDIS.

Attend NDIS Planning Meeting

Bring necessary documents and clarify what you need or want to include in the NDIS plan. It is vital that your needs are heard and involved in two-way communication by speaking up or asking questions if you were in doubt.

Understand The NDIS Plan

Look through the draft of the NDIS plan carefully to check if the plan is right for you. Ensure all of your details are accurate and you are happy with the allocation of funds before informing your service provider that you have received the draft of the NDIS plan.

Manage Your NDIS Finances

Keep track of the progress of your NDIS funding. Communication is key when it comes to establishing an agreement with your plan manager. Discuss further how and when the NDIS support will be provided to you.

Organise Your Supports

Arrange service agreements with your chosen service provider. You can verify when the support will be provided, the costs and the other fees you require paying. Make sure that you are happy and satisfied with what the service provider can offer you before signing up.

Track The Progress

Receive the services and enjoy the improvements a service provider brings. You should keep a record to yourself and take notes on all of the support you receive and keep track of your budget

Annual Plan Review
